Dr. Mostafa M. Fouda is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Computer Science, College of Science and Engineering, Idaho State University, ID, USA. He also holds the position of Full Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, Benha University, Egypt. He is a former Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Information Sciences, Tohoku University, Japan.

Dr. Fouda's main research interests are in the areas of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of things (IoT), smart grids, 5G/6G networks, vehicular networks, signal processing, and smart healthcare.

Dr. Fouda received a Ph.D. degree in Information Sciences from the Graduate School of Information Sciences, Tohoku University, Japan, in 2011, an M.S. degree in Electrical Communications, and a B.S. degree with honors in Electrical Engineering (Electronics & Telecommunications) from the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, Benha University, Egypt, in 2007 and 2002, respectively. He received the prestigious First Place Award from the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra in 2002.
